Formlua SAE Engine Develoment
Team members modified a Yamaha 450 dirt bike engine to meet the special needs of the Cal Poly Formula SAE race car, making the engine more powerful, reliable and drivable in this application.
Aircraft Data Collection System
This system allows flight data to be collected from light aircraft and used for calibration of the aircraft instruments.
Adaptive Paddle Launch Vehicle
Sponsored through a National Science Foundation grant, these students designed a safe and efficient vehicle which is used to transport an adaptive paddle vehicle to a launch ramp, then launch and retreive the vessel. The vessel, designed in another Senior project, carries a paddler who is affected by paraplegia or a similar condition.
